A note from Shay
I love seeing good teachers get excited about trying something that just might be better— better for themselves, their students and our country’s future. I have a very firm belief that students are actually just people who want the same thing I want: respect and an opportunity to grow. And I believe that we’re all doing the best we can with what we’ve got, but that when a student has experienced continuous failure, he’s likely to protect himself by attitudes and actions that reflect his own disappointments. The same is true about teachers…. The Center for Effective Teaching gives me a chance to share concepts that are proven to work
- across all subject areas
- all grade levels
- all socioeconomic scenarios.
Ideas that help teachers, administrators, classroom aides, librarians, and even bus drivers
have less frustration and more success
– more Time To Teach.
